Belts & Goals
While techniques may not be taught in specific order, as to best aid the students personal needs & abilities, the below is a breakdown of what
knowledge is required for each level.  At instructors discretion, students may also skip belts, if skills and techniques have been attained earlier.

Yellow Belt:

Punches:  

  • Jab

  • Cross

  • Uppercut

  • Hook

 

Low & Mid level Kicks:

  • Roundhouse Kick

  • Front Kick

  • Side Kick

Green Belt:

Punch Defense:

  • Bob & Weave, Slip, Sway Back, Shoulder Roll, Cover & Blocks

  • Counters Punches & Timing Drills

  • Open hand techniques (For self defense only! - Not Competition)

 

High Kicks

  • High Roundhouse

  • Inverted Roundhouse

  • Axe Kick

  • Crescent Kick

Purple Belt

Punches & Defense:

  • Back fists & Spinning Back Fists

  • Shovel Hooks, Hammer Fists & Elbows

  • Boxing Pad Drills

  • Light Sparring

 

Spinning & Combo Kicking:

  • Reverse Spinning Roundhouse

  • Spinning Side Kick

  • Pad drills and combinations

  • Leg Checking and Slips

Red Belt

Punches & Kicks

  • Live Drills (Sparring & Pads)

  • Additional Light Sparring

 

Advanced Kicks

  • Jumping & Spinning Kicks

  • Savate / Sanda Style - Leg Stops & Counters

  • Clinch & Knees

Brown Belt:

Contact Sparring & Training

  • Boxing Range

  • Kickboxing Range

  • Clinch Range

Black Belt (1st Dan):

  • Take Down Defense

  • Sweeps and Throws

  • Full Contact Sparring

 

​

Black Belt - 2nd/3rd/4th/5th Dan:

  • Further Personal Exploration into addition techniques from other styles. 

  • Grappling / Trapping / Wrestling Analysis - Defense & Application

  • Continued Training with Coach Snyder

(Through regular training you may gain an additional Dan every 1-2 years)
